The whole page in one scroll. The evening runs at the pace you scroll.

The question

A lamp switched off is half a product. It only makes sense on, in a room, as the light goes. So we asked: what if the page let you watch the evening happen?

The idea

One room, one evening. The hero is the room in daylight. As you scroll it opens to full screen and pins, the sky in the window turns to dusk, the room cools to blue hour, and four lamps switch on one by one: wall, pendant, floor, table. Where the light falls, the floor, the sofa and the wooden table show their texture.

Craft details

Light as the material

Each lamp’s light is a warm copy of the room that fades out from the lamp, not a flat glow, so every surface reads where the light lands. The lamps also switch on and off by hand.

Icons that still switch on

Real lamps by their real designers and years, from Luminator (1954) to IC Lights (2014). Each one switches on as you reach it.

Seki-Han, turning

From day to night, literally

One typeface set light and large, one warm lamp colour, and a page that goes from light grey to graphite as the evening falls.

On a phone

On a phone the view pans across the room to each lamp as it lights, so every switch-on gets centre stage.

Every fact, checked

Every lamp name, designer, year and price comes from flos.com (US), read in November 2026. The room is a generated scene with no Flos products in it, the sky is licensed stock footage, and the lamps are drawn, not Flos designs. The page says so in the scene and in the footer.
